Stake wasn't as tender as they clamed, bland salad & rest was to salty. Nice atmosphere & sweet waitress.
Walking into Lindey's is like walking into your grandma's house. Quiet, no frills, and full of smells that make your mouth water. We drive up from Missoula a few times a year because it's so good. Lindey's is a special place, so here are some things you should know before you go: 1. Lindey's only sells steaks so don't go in expecting fish or chicken or anything else. In fact, if you require something besides steak, just go elsewhere and save this place from your "I was so disappointed" one star review. 2. The menu is on a chalkboard style stand, so don't be surprised when the server plops the stand down next to you. 3. Meals are served family style with a simple salad (lettuce and homemade thousand island), potatoes, garlic toast and pickled watermelon. We've definitely had seconds of the sides brought to us, so don't be afraid to ask. 4. Just get the Lindey's Special Sirloin. It's worth the few extra dollars in both quality and taste. 5. Don't forget to dip your garlic bread in the steak drippings!
This place is outstanding. They serve steak. If you want something other than steak, maybe try going somewhere other than a steakhouse. I personally, love every aspect of the experience here and will go every opportunity I get. Be sure to check out their sister location in Arden Hills, MN.
A very good dining experience, A simple menu, steak that's it, see below.Very well prepared and great service. I would definitely recommend Lindey's if your in the Seely Lake area. If your looking for something cheap or inexpensive, stay out of Montana!
Steak was delicious and melted in your mouth. I liked the sweet pickled watermelon rind and the staff was absolutely amazing.
