Really nice people to deal with. We plan to stay here every chance possible and would recommend it to people who like REAL places, that are comfortable and have character.
Lovely little motel. Clean, friendly, tv. Just very simple, not fancy at all. Will stay here every time I come thru.
The resort with the "logging camp" was a trailer park in the 70's and never at anytime was or has been a logging camp..its sad to see the history of our lovely town be manipulated for profit. the entire collection of buildings were brought in from out of state as a historical salvage in the late 80's early 90's. But it is a lovely place to stay but they need to be right with the historical facts of the area. Stop in, say hi to the owner, they are sure to treat you well!
My family and I stayed here over Thanksgiving (4 nights) and got the suite which was perfect for us. Two rooms (one with two beds and one with a queen) and 2 bathrooms plus a jet tub in the master bedroom. Beds were comfortable, rooms were warm and nicely decorated with quilts and bright colors, kind of a old fashioned cabin atmosphere. (there aren't phones, so be sure and bring your cell and you'll have no problem calling out)
