OMG!! If you are in Montana find your way to Rich Ranch. We were so lucky to get Jack Rich as our guide, that man is sweet, funny, and he knows the wilderness. Everyone at this ranch is very nice and helpful. His wife is an amazing wilderness artist check out her paintings when there. This place is the best. His great niece Kylie is awesome too. Thank you for our trip this morning.
Rich Ranch packed our party into the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area for a one week outing. We stayed at the ranch the night before we embarked. The six of us are all experienced Montana outdoorsmen and horse owners. We were very impressed with our stay at Rich Ranch and the professionalism of the staff and facilities. The facilities, rooms, horse barn, corrals and paddocks are clean and tidy. Meals are served family style buffet, are well prepared and generous (as in pat your belly). We packed in 26 miles in two days with 13 pack mules (we had three river rafts with us). The wranglers were very good with the pack stock and us. Us locals unanimously and heartily recommend Rich Ranch.
A fantastic experience! Be sure to stay for dinner! We went on a 6 hour trail ride with Tommy. He and his crew were professional and friendly and the horses were the best trail horses we have ever been on. We are already planning our next ride there.

Absolutely amazing experience! I highly recommend Rich Ranch for all your horseback riding adventures. I went on a 2 hour trail ride with my grandfather and we had an amazing time. Jennifer and Ken were wonderful guides and very knowledgeable of the area and were able to answer most all of our questions in great detail. I will definitely be scheduling a stay at one of their beautiful lodges. Peggy was also very kind patient with us. We had so much fun.
